The Venusians are a near-extinct alien race that originated from the planet Venus.

History

The Venusian race lived on Venus for millenia, making technological advancements much faster than Humans and even using that technology to observe Earth's advancement. Because of the extreme temperatures and environments present on Venus the race grew to become practically immune to heat.

One day their scientists became aware of an upcoming solar event that would cause catastrophic changes to the surface of Venus. The Venusians decided that their only option was a mass exodus, and created a device that transported them across time and space, into another part of the galaxy centuries into the future. They tried to locate a new planet to settle on but soon crossed paths with the Technax Armada. They were captured instantly. Their Queen, Ishtara, offered the race's complete services to Technax, unwilling to face extinction after having barely escaped it. Technax agreed, and Ishtara was appointed a general within his armada. The Venusians' main tasks involved researching biological warfare, one of the few areas Technax himself possessed limited knowledge of.

Two Venusians were kept in stasis within Technax's 'trophy room'.

To Save the World!

The Venusians attacked Earth along with the rest of the Technax Armada. After Ishtara betrayed Technax the majority of Venusians were killed, and the rest went into hiding. The two Venusians trapped in Technax's trophy room were broken free by a group of heroes, and offered to ally with them to avenge the death of their Queen. They were both killed in the battle against Technax.

Abilities and Skills

Venusians are possessed of a hard, bumpy layer of exterior flesh that protects them from extreme heat. They have two beady black eyes and several acid-secreting tentacles, which were used on Venus to dissolve rocks in order to consume the nutritious minerals inside. The number of tentacles is an indicator of age; one grows roughly every decade. Venusians can be coloured anywhere between violet and crimson. Female Venusians are much more common than males; as a female can only give birth once during her lifetime whereas a male can inseminate indefinitely. Their lifespans extend for hundreds of years.

Most Venusians were outfitted with basic armour and robotic legs whilst in the service of Technax.

As a species they possessed advanced technological and biological knowledge, but most of it was lost after their capture by Technax.

As a society Venusians were very organised and obedient. They were completely devoted to their Queen even to the point of risking their lives. They were also very honest and trusting of each other, referring to fellow Venusians as 'sister' or 'brother'.
